Subscriber Agreement

Effective Date: November 17, 2025

This Subscriber Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your purchase and use of subscription-based content offered on www.teresascribbles.com (the “Site”), owned and operated by Teresa Curtis-Morrow (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By subscribing to any paid or free membership tier, you agree to the terms outlined below.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not subscribe.

1. Subscription Overview

The Site offers both free and paid subscription options.
Paid subscriptions may include:

• Early access to blog posts

• Exclusive short stories, fiction, and worldbuilding content

• Behind-the-scenes author updates

• Downloadable materials

• Special newsletters or bonus content

• Other perks as described at checkout

Subscription offerings may change over time, but existing content will always remain accessible for the duration of your subscription.

2. Eligibility

By subscribing, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old

• You are capable of entering a legal agreement

• You are using your own payment information or have permission to use it

3. Account Creation

To subscribe, you may be required to create an account.
You agree to:

• Provide accurate information

• Keep your login details secure

• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from failure to protect your account credentials.

4. Payment Terms

Subscription payments are processed through Squarespace Payments and/or Stripe.
We do not store or access full credit card details.

By subscribing, you authorize:

• Recurring charges (monthly or yearly)

• Automatic renewal unless canceled

• The payment processor to charge your selected payment method

You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Subscriber Hub.

Cancellation terms:

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle

• You will not be refunded for the remainder of the billing period

• You will lose access to subscriber-only content once your subscription expires

If you cancel a yearly subscription early, the same rules apply.

6. Refund Policy

Subscription fees and digital content are generally non-refundable.

Refunds may be issued only in cases of:

• Duplicate billing

• Technical errors that prevented access to paid content

• Other special circumstances as determined by us

7. Subscriber Content Use & Restrictions

Subscriber-only content (including early releases, exclusive stories, worldbuilding, digital downloads, or bonuses) is protected by copyright law.

Subscribers may not:

• Share subscriber-only posts publicly

• Reproduce or distribute any paid content

• Upload or repost paid content elsewhere

• Share screenshots of paid materials

• Use subscriber-only content in any commercial way

• Train AI models on any subscriber content

Subscribers may:

• Enjoy content personally

• Save posts for private use

• Quote a brief excerpt with attribution, as long as it does not reveal member-only content

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content provided to subscribers is the exclusive property of Teresa Curtis-Morrow, unless otherwise stated.

Subscribing does not grant ownership of the content—only access.

9. Modifications to Subscription Content

We may:

• Add new content

• Remove outdated materials

• Update benefits

• Adjust pricing for new subscribers

However:

• Existing subscribers will be notified of any major changes

• When pricing changes, you will always have the option to cancel before renewal

We aim to keep benefits fair, stable, and clearly communicated.

10. Availability & Technical Issues

We strive to ensure uninterrupted access, but cannot guarantee:

• Zero downtime

• Perfect availability

• Immediate support during outages

If technical issues occur, we will work with Squarespace to resolve them as quickly as possible.

Extended outages may qualify for partial refunds at our discretion.

11. Prohibited Behavior

Subscribers agree not to:

• Abuse, harass, or threaten the creator or other readers

• Bypass, disable, or manipulate website security

• Attempt to scrape content, data mine, or automate downloads

• Share passwords or subscription access with others

Violation may result in termination of your account.

12. Termination of Subscription

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any subscription if:

• The subscriber violates this Agreement

• Fraudulent activity is detected

• Illegal actions occur

• A subscriber engages in harmful or abusive conduct

Termination for violating these terms does not entitle the subscriber to a refund.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Subscriber Agreement from time to time.
When changes occur, we will update the Effective Date and may notify subscribers by email or a site notice.

Continued use of the subscriber features constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
